Born in Argentina on February 7, 2001, P. De la Vega is currently a winger for Lans. After trying out for Boca Juniors and River Plate and failing to make the team, P. De la Vega began his professional career in the junior programme at Ferrocarril Sud and eventually joined Lans in 2015.
P. De la Vega made his professional debut on 16 September 2018 against Racing Club at home after being promoted to the first-team squad for the 2018-19 season. In September, he played again twice, once against Newell’s Old Boys and once against River Plate.
For the 2019 Copa de la Superliga, he scored his first goal in the round of sixteen loss to Vélez Sarsfield.
P. De la Vega Made His Debut at The Age of 17
At the tender age of 17, P. De la Vega made his professional debut for Lanus, where he has since established himself as a top talent in one of Argentina’s most promising youth programmes.
When his team, Lanus, was beaten badly by River Plate the week after his debut, he was so emotionally invested in playing for Il Granate that he cried when he was taken out at halftime.
Despite just making one start, he has garnered interest from European clubs because to his success with the Argentine U-23 team at the Olympics and in the Copa Sudamericana semifinals this past season.
P. De la Vega, now 20 years old, has grown out his hair since his debut, and he also sometimes wears a soul patch, giving him the appearance of the playmakers of yesteryear.
Who also had long locks that filled the air as they caressed the ball with their foot. Possession, a wonderful first touch in tight spaces.
The ability to move and receive possession between the lines, and the imagination to create chances for himself and teammates distinguish P. De la Vega as an artist of his craft.
